Scholarship
This open water swim is a fund raiser for a scholarship to a graduating senior high school student who plans to competitively swim in college and to provide contributions to organized high school swim programs in Kootenai County. Our desire is to acknowledge students who treat others with respect, provide role models and take a positive approach to life. These traits represented Steve Omi's character.
Scholarship Application
Applicant requirements:
* Must have swum for an organized competitive swim program in Kootenai County during the previous 12 months
* Must Attend College the semester following graduation
* Will be participating in a collegiate swim program
Application Requirements
* Attach 2 references to application(see application for details)
* Attach a copy of your high school transcript(s).
* Attach essay on representing the standard the name of Steve Omi
* Return completed application(with attachments) postmarked by April 18th
